The EU Delegation in collaboration with Asian Strategy & Leadership Institute and the Centre of Public Policy Studies will host a debate on "ASEAN, the new EU?".

The debaters are Tan Sri Dr. Mohd. Munir Bin Abdul Majid, H.E. Julian Wilson, Tan Sri Dato' Ajit Singh and Mr. Stewart Forbes. The debate will be moderated by Dato’ Dr. Michael Yeoh. The floor is then opened for questions and answers from the audience, as well as a final vote.

Trade Forum organised by EU-Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Kuala Lumpur, 15 April 2010


EU Launch of the SWITCH ASIA project: "Sustainable Production of the Biomass Industries in Malaysia: Optimising Economic Potential and Moving Towards Higher Value Chain". The EU-Malaysia Biomass Stakeholders Forum marked the launch of the Project on 27 April and was followed by a Knowledge Exchange Session on 28 April.

The Project is led by Malaysian Industry-Government Group for High Technology (MiGHT), who was ensuring participation of stakeholders, from SMEs, government agencies and relevant institutes.  

The Project is co-funded by the European Union for the amount of € 1.8 million and will be implemented in 4 years.
